People’s “millennium generation” called-those who today are between 18 and 30 years prefer to do your banking online instead of going to a branch, according to a study by Javelin Strategy and sponsored by Microsoft, although in certain types of transactions, the majority continue supportive relationship with the agent’s face.
Thus, young adults chose the Internet to interact with their bank in the most basic transactions like paying bills (70%), or information, such as check balances and movements (74%).
True, according to Javelin Strategy, often relies on direct interaction-to-face with the entity to perform more complex transactions, such as opening accounts (57%) and borrowing (52%). But now a significant percentage of the half, the demographic most or even chooses to complete complex transactions without moving to a branch.
Microsoft stressed that, in view of the data bank that wants to “attract and retain new customers-especially 80 million young adults who are familiar with the technology, will make the integration of organizations and processes through the Web, branch and telephone service.”
